Phoenix covers more than 500 square miles of Maricopa County at about 1,100 feet, and pest pressure changes with every few miles. The west side, Maryvale, Laveen and Estrella, mixes older tract homes with new construction and farmland edges, which brings field mice, crickets and termite pretreatment questions.
Phoenix also has the densest restaurant, warehouse and medical office market in the state, and commercial accounts there run under Maricopa County Environmental Services inspection rules. Summer heat above 110 degrees and the July monsoon drive the residential calls, with scorpions, roof rats, termites and roaches leading.
