Mesa sits at about 1,240 feet in Maricopa County, the third largest city in Arizona and the home base for Green Ninja Pest Control. The pest picture splits by neighborhood. Desert subterranean termites are under the whole city, and mud tubes on the stem wall are routine on the flood irrigated lots.
Summer highs above 110 degrees push scorpions and Turkestan roaches indoors from June on, and the first monsoon storm in July floods sewer roaches into bathrooms across the older grid. Calls from Mesa are led by scorpions, termites, roof rats in citrus neighborhoods and roaches after rain, with bee swarms on block walls each spring and fall.
